Seriously does no one teach their kids manners anymore? (No offense meant towards those that actually do.)

Lately I've been running into a large amount of flat out rude MMO players. Today was one of them. His name on FFXI is Chamyusoso.

First off before I get into ranting on him an what he did... MMO players! >.> When you play a MMO you ARE playing with other living, breathing human beings. Have some bloody decency to treat others the way you want to be treated. If you want people to treat you nicely and not blow you off... Be nice to them. Don't disrespect them because 'its just a game'. It might be 'just a game' but those other players are PEOPLE TOO! 'Just a game' is a damn excuse. A piss poor excuse at that too. If you have any manners you will not disrespect someone else on a MMO without a good reason. It not only makes you look like an ass but its gonna hurt who will an will not help you in the long run as word gets around. I mean look at KI where people LOVE to have flame wars against others. (Part of the reason I only read KI and don't participate...) It seriously won't kill a person to at least just be nice instead of being flat out rude. A simple no thanks or I'm sorry busy now, is much better then being rude to them.

Well in AQWorlds its not so much rudeness completely there. But players there still have no manners either. They just type help in caps. They don't use please or thanks. They send you a tell saying your hot when all they're talking about is pixels... No wonder my friend list on there is empty an why I play maybe once a week for the update. Kids today have no manners or care whether or not the person they're trying to hit on is a girl or a guy. I think next person to hit on my character in AQ I'm just tell em I'm a guy to get them to bug off.

Okay now onto the Chamy story. So I met this player maybe like a month ago. Was either helping with something or joined some of party he was in. He seemed okay but kinda noobish. I figured I'd give him a fair shot cause he might turn out to be a nice person. *shrug* So I gave him a shot.

He was about as dumb game knowledge wise as my one ex-bf. On the BCNM Battaru Royale today without him we won 1/1. With Chamy we lost at least twice. Then instead of staying teamed up with us like he said he would he went ahead without us anyways. (We waited for a few LS members to catch up an went on our own with them instead since Chamy ditched us.) So strike one against him.

Then today he thinks its funny to tell some lvl 23 whm noob to ask my friend Tace for gil and help farming his/her spells... Without asking Tace if that was okay. So Tace simply didn't respond to this noob. Then Chamy started prodding Tace in LS asking why he wasn't responding to that player. So I basically told Chamy that he shouldn't be tell noob players to ask someone they don't know for gil when that person doesn't know said noob either. Well he started getting all 'I was just having fun.' even though we told him it wasn't funny. Its not even remotely funny. Its like a sick joke. Of course we got a LS Leader involved at this point cause he kept saying how funny he thought it was. It was then that he started the whole 'its just a game' excuse. Saying I needed to cool down. First of all I was calm when I told him it wasn't very nice but rude to do. I was using proper grammar and no swear words. That's me being calm. I don't type as proper when I'm pissed. An even after I decided to ignore him he had to have the last word in the LS. Strike two! >.> At this time I was very tempted to blist him and probably should have.

NOW we come to the final strike against his ass. Bring in the evidence!!!


Yeah so obviously in his skewed view... All female MMO players who play more then once in a while are ugly. Yes I have spent 5yrs playing but that doesn't make me ugly. As much as I don't like talking about RL on here...

A) Most of my friends and I don't have a huge amount of things in common. Most of them don't watch Anime or read manga or play RPGs. When I play MMOs I find people I can discuss these things with. People who I may or may not become closer with outside of said event/game/whatever. I enjoy conversing with my pals both in game and out. I've had my one friend from an RPG group since 2001ish. We still talk often and discuss a wide array of things that I could probably never discuss with my real life friends. (MY definition of real life friends are those I grew up around or went to school with.)

B) I am not the what I consider pretty but that DOES NOT MAKE ME UGLY! (I'm my own worse enemy when comes to what I think about myself. Two of my friends keep giving me heck about it lol...) I'm simply plain. Besides its what's inside that counts. I wouldn't want to be pretty and shallow. I prefer to be a colorful soul compared to being society's definition of pretty. That does not make me ugly in any way at all. I play because I find places I can get lost in as my escapes from the stresses of everyday real life. I have a stressful job and a stressful family. Games, reading, writing... They're my escape away. Its my time away from everything to relax and calm down.

Yes I did blist him. An yes I did tell a LS Leader (not the shell holder since he hasn't been on much due to school an stuff...) about what Chamy said to me in tells.
Leader: he said 'What?' (What was done in the translation feature. but that was said Lead's words when I told him Chamy called me ugly. Then told me he'd handle it.)

When the shell leader gets back I will flat out tell him anything Chamy is involved in I will not be a part of. I will not tolerate someone of his mentality. I dun care that I can't see what he says. I refuse to play with someone who acts and thinks the way he does. He may think this is just a game but that gives him no right to behave the way he has.

Okay so pointless title first of all. XD Really couldn't think of anything better that I haven't already used at one point or another.

Okay so second! Tsune is now level 90 an Acrotecher 10 with plans on going to Guntecher afterwards. :D Got my rappy suit, a few more color variations of my mikunas, and a blue bikini. So really all thats left atm is my Igg crown for the Guardians Formal. (Yeah... Can't see that happening anytime soon. LOL!)

Thirdly I picked up a copy of Magna Carta 2 for the XBox360. Been playing that mostly the last few days. Just haven't been in too much of a MMO mood. (Partly because its that time of year that I hate. Long story that I'm not explaining here.)

Finally, last but certainty not least. I'm be returning to FFXI soonish. Need to look at some Dynamis group rules to decide which is gonna best fit my work schedule with lotting rules. x.x (No I'm not going back to the typical old play every day like I used to. More like 2-3days a week.) Probably spend some time here the next few days reading rules of groups so I can try to make my return during my five day mini-vaca from work. (Asked for 3 days off and boss gave me 5 w/ 3 days as paid vacation time. :D Nov 13th-17th!)

Okay so I'm feeling a tad bored atm and a tad depressed. (Mostly cause its that time of year again. Close to my b-day but also the time when a lot of shit hit the fan in 2002 and again in 2003. Long story which I'm not gonna get into on my gamer journal.) So instead of playing a game (besides AQW trying my hardest to get stupid Pumpkin Lord armor that refuses to drop...) I decided to see how many of my many character incarnations I've made over the years.

Now keep in mind this involves more then just game incarnations.

Started off with the old and now seldom used Sailor Nebula. Yes, yes I was a big Sailor Moon fan during my first couple years that I had PC and Internet access. It was my first Anime/Manga series that I seen. Surprisingly I seen the first episode of season 2 in like 7th grade early on a Saturday morning. XD Before I even knew it was a JP anime.

Sailor Nebula aka Christine StarCross. Was my first real dive into character creations and has been tweaked and evolved over the years. She gained depth and more history as time went on. Sadly though as my forum RPG days slowed down so did my fandom to Sailor Moon. So thus Sailor Nebula and the many characters created to add depth to her story have kinda come to a halt. They're not really in the trash bin. Just sitting around on my hard drive in case I ever want to return to them.

Next came Kamali and Ruka. They were both created around the same time but Kamali was first. They were both created for forum RPGs of the Legend of Dragoon genre. Kamali was my first original Dragoon. She was the spirit dragoon. A non-elemented Dragoon whose powers dwelt in spiritual energy. She was half wingly and half human who didn't fit into either world.

Ruka was the daughter of Meru and her wingly fiance. (I dun remember how to spell his name offhand.) She was created for a RPG but never became a normal character like Kamali was. I did like her though. :) So she was at least worth a mention.

Okay now that I'm done with the fan/story/rpg creations we head into the game related creations.

TSUNE!

Phantasy Star Online brought about my very first game created character. An the original very first Tsune to ever be created. Tsune was a Newman female Force. I tried to make her kind of look like me. I spent a lot of time working on her offline mostly because the network adapter was near impossible to find for a gamecube. She got up into the 80s before she became lost to the world. Somewhere in travel I lost the memory card she was stored on an never had the heart to remake her or put that much time into a new character.

AdventureQuest! :) Unfortunately Tsune was a taken name at that time so while I still tried to make her look the same I was forced to name her Sedna. The actual login name was Gingitsune but the character got named Sedna. Or something. XD Been too long since I created my AQ character to remember all the little details. Final Fantasy XI! Destiney was a totally random name generator name. I wanted to name her after one of my current alias at the time or at least Tsune or Nebula. Think both at that time had been taken. :( Although face 3A looks a lot similar to Yuna of FFX I picked it because its actually pretty close to my rl looks. Brown shoulder length hair. Spent a little over 5yrs working on Destiney. Its had its ups and downs but glad I got to play. Met lots of wonderful people. :) Now Destiney is moving beyond FFXI into my fanfictions and other games.

Sometime during the FFXI years came DragonFable. (Unfortunately... >.> DF page isn't loading for me... So offhand idr the name I used.) DF is another of the Atrix games. :) Play every now and then still. :) Can't beat a RPG where you have your own pet dragon.

After that came Phantasy Star Universe! :o (Or was it before. I dun remember. XD In no mood to look up exact dates.) The newman Force made her return. Tsune found herself back in action. :) The next generation of Phantasy Star Tsune stepped up to the bat. Granted I did play-quit-play-quit for awhile during the course of playing FFXI because I had no real friends on PSU and friends on FFXI. Tsune is still going strong right now with no plans of quitting again unless they shut down the servers. Though Tsune might be slacking off a bit. (Down to like 3-4days a week of play so I can play FFXI the other 3-4days.)

Sometime during all of this came MechQuest from the Atrix team. Destiney the StarCaptain found her start there. Though I'm not a big player for MechQuest. XD I did start getting into it a little more. Was kinda hard to get into at the start cause the mecha I had sucked for all the harder things. Sometime a year ago came AdventureQuestWorlds. The first Atrix MMO browser game. I got to play during the Beta Test of the MMO. So that makes me a founder player. :) Destiney took up arms there in the beginning as a Healer/Cleric. Recently the Atrix gang released a spin-off kinda game to AQ, called Warp Force. Haven't really gotten into this game. I did play during the testing phase but looks like my character data got wiped when they released the full game. XD So my character just got recreated a few minutes ago. Now I know thats not all the creations but those are the major ones. The ones that have lead to present day states. Tsune and Destiney are the biggest and baddest of the many. Someday I hope to find someone to either do a commission piece for me or something. Something with my Red Mage Hume Destiney and my Wartecher Newman Tsune. :) Actually debating trying to write some kinda crossover for the two of them. ^^

Okay. Feeling a bit better now. Still tired from work but emotionally feeling better after going over all the work I've done over the years on RP characters both for forums and actual games. :) Little after 8:30. Still time for a little PSU.

So haven't played a lot this past week. Few hours here and there till I pass out from being so tired. x.x;

Made the 8mil I need to pay Iwalleh for the Dagger of Serafi I want.

Do have a few goals I've been kinda trying to work on with little luck so far.

Goals:
-Igg Crown for GUARDIANS Formal (This might be the hardest goal ever from the stories I've heard on hunting Rappy Igg.)
-Tylor's Partner Card (Need to level up more. He's lvl95 and I can survive in the fight with him but I can't actually beat him to get his card.)
-Karen Erra's Partner Card (All a matter of beating Photon Harvest 1 with a S score. So far I can manage an A. I can find all the mushrooms but its beating the timer that is stopping me. Need 5mins+ left and I can just manage just under 4mins left atm. Might have to level more.)

A few other minor things I want to spend time hunting for eventually are stuff to get the Rappy Suit outfit which is mainly gonna require time and money and to level some other job type since my Wartecher is now level 20.

Tace finally got his copy of PSU yesterday so he's now playing with us. :D We got him from lvl 4 to lvl 20 so he now has his Nanoblast.

Iwalleh and I set him up pretty good with gear to start with. :)

I did a rare mission yesterday with CrimsonBlaze and some others. Was fun and got me to 39. :D

Later did my own rare mission with Iwalleh, Chaos, and Mental Muffin. :D That was even more fun and got me to 80. ^^

Iwa was lending me his Daggers of Serafi. :o But I like em so much and he's offering to sell em to me. XD Now I just need to save about 7mil in mesta to do so. Shouldn't be too hard now that I've got a Mikunas Set that I'm happy with. ^^

Was looking up stuff on PSU earlier today when net went out. So I decided to mess around with icon brushes I had downloaded in the past and my PSU CS Screenshots. Made myself three new Karen Erra icons. Well two and one with her hugging Ethan Waber. ^^ I'm pretty happy with how they look. Especially the one I'm using for this post. Granted I'm not gonna share them like I used to with icons I made. These are mostly personal use only. (Partly because sharing would mean a lot of updating of my icon journal resources and partly because I like having something unique.)

Didn't really accomplish anything in game last night. Only got in one run of Protectors before Iwa and Muffin went off to do an S2 and Chaos went to help friends.

This morning when I woke up thought I accomplished getting lvl67 and scoring and S on Will of Light part 1. Unfortunately it isn't the section of that chapter I need the S on. x.x I need to score and S on part 2 but I barely pulled off the S on part 1. So I really doubt I can pull it off on part 2 with the annoying mage mobs that like to poof around the room. I'm go try probably but I can't say it will go as I want it to since it has to be done in under 11mins to score S.

Okay so I got my twitter all redone and my twittinesis.com thing working. Granted I'm probably go back and delete the stuff that isn't game related when it posts here.

Not much got done in game last night since I spent most of the day doing rl stuff. I did manage to get to lvl 66 and Wartecher lvl 10. So yay I now get to use 1 of the 2 S rank weapons Iwa gave me. Protectors is some nice and fast experience. :) Chaos gave me a bow we got in drops from one of the runs. So now I have a nice A rank bow to use. (My old one was a B rank and I was using the Card Fante A rank weapon Iwa gave me since it hit harder then my old bow.) I'll just have to reorganize my weapons a bit to fit my Card Fante back into my weapon lineup.

Looks like next update for FFXI is coming soon. Keeping my eye on it atm. I would like to finish the WotG story if nothing else. Just because I love a good story. (Kinda why I said my retirement was temporary. I do want to finish that story if nothing else. Maybe Shantotto's story as well but idk if I'm pay for that or not.)

Well on friday Sega released the Alpha and Beta versions of the Protectors Mission. I've been doing some nice leveling on S Rank Mission in that. I went from lvl 58 to 63 in the last two days. :)

I'm also now 1 item away from my own Mikunas set. I just bought the Mirei Photo Stand last night off someone for 1mil. Now only piece left is the portrait from Will of Light Episode 3 Chapter 3. I attempted it myself on Rank B since it says lvl 50+ and I went in at 60. :( Only scored a C when I need to score and S to get the portrait. Supposedly has to be done in under 10mins. x.x I did it in under 15mins. I don't do enough damage yet. Iwa said he'd try to get the portrait for me.

Mostly been playing on PS2 version of the game though. Still haven't solved why my character runs in slow motion when I play on PC. (An everyone else runs at normal speed... Its so confusing.)

So in this past week since my return to PSU I've managed to make some cool friends though the PS2/PC servers are looking rather ghostly empty most of the time. Iwalleh gave me some rank S weapons. Two of the three I can't use yet since I don't have enough ATP. Chaos gave me Whitil Whings. (Probably spelled that wrong.) An Setsuna (can't spell the name of the main character) gave me my divine tear drop thing for getting the outfit the divine maiden wears. :) So I'm not at 2 outta like 4 items needed.

^^ So its been fun thus far. Alot of catching up to do now since level cap is lvl 170 with chances of a 180 cap since JP servers have that already I think. I made it through Episode 3 Chapter 6. Not much further till I finish the actual story mode online. Main reason I had reactivated to begin with was to finish Episode 3 which is only online since its stuff Sega has added on. But since I made some cool friends I think I'll stick around for the time being.

Tsune is now level 53 Wartecher level 6. :D

So Destiney is currently on a temporary retirement. Already told my static or well posted it on the forums so if they dun read its not my fault. Nylrem was joining half of UF on the jump to Aion and Sho is busy with school. So was kinda a pain anyways since that made us lose 2 members. Oh well. I'd still login to game if someone asked me to help with something but other then that I don't really want to login. So canceled Karigan and my mules today after work. Leaving Destiney active for the time being just in case.

Tsune has made her return. LVL 50 Newman Wartecher LVL 5. (Not sure if it will be temporary or permanent.)

I haven't really been in game since like Friday over a week an a half ago. An personally I don't miss it either. I think if it weren't for some friends in that game I probably would have already quit truthfully.

However since Mike now has DSL he can actually leave FFXI with me for a different MMO. Something less stressful then FFXI.

This isn't actually a permanent good-bye to FFXI. Not yet anyways. I'm still log on for my events at night until I finally get so tired of them. I don't have much desire to keep trecking on in FFXI much. I mean half my assault static are either total pain in the asses or can't keep to a simple twice a week schedule that they had all agreed to before we even started. Salvage is a headache as well. Level grinding is pretty dual. I think I might wait for the last mini expansion or I might not. I kinda wanna see it since it involves Shanotto.

Even if I do plan to quit FFXI I'm keep Destiney and all her belongings for awhile. At least till I decide if its gonna be temporary or permanent. Still kinda torn on what I really want to do about FFXI at the moment.

On the other hand I do have a renewed desire to return to PSU and I've been bugging Mike to join me. Most of our LS is off playing Aion so its pretty dull in FFXI. PSU at least has things a solo or duo can do. My lvl48 Tsune Wartecher lvl 5 is still there and alive. Only reason I hadn't ever stuck with PSU was the lack of friends to play with.

Nothing set in stone on either choice yet. Might just be a temp thing where I take a break for a change of pace or might be the end of my FFXI days. 5 years in FFXI... Still hard to believe I might be at the end of such a long run. /shrug Oh well. Might be better off. Or as I've seen some people say on some forums about people quitting, I might actually beat the game! (Which I think is kind of true about you beat the game when you can finally quit it. It is addictive and quitting is kind of like winning.)

Okay enough rambling. Still need to unpack from vacation.
